End of the week...

So this week went by really fast for me at work which is really good because I need it to go by fast so i can stay home with my pregnant wife and be with her in the mornings. I have really not wanted to get up the past few days and just stay in bed but i cant because i must work. Went to go see karate kid and it was fairly good and i will say that i like the new sensei a lot better than miyagi and the new karate kid (jaden smith) was more tolerable than "daniel san"...... not sure if its one to see again but it was alright. Things are going fairly well right now and I have no complaints.... i need to give more opinions and what not but right now i have none.... just work, my wife, ruby, and sick dog that has cone of shame..... he has disgraced this family, kidding..... anyway write more later

And then there was....... me

Sometimes i feel that there are some things I cant control.... some things that are better left to the powers above, or below......... there must be opposition in all things we hear. There is joy and misery, virtue and vice, up and down, now or later. No matter how we look at it, decisions must be made and I know that I am in control of myself and my surroundings. I have chosen the things i have for a reason, they have made me a better person and allow me to be driven. I have no regrets of my past and no complaints of my present, now all I have to worry about is my future. What is next? All I can say is that i love my family, i love my wife, i love my child, i love my dog, and my fish. As for the first 2, I will be the best i can for them and be there for them always.... I will be a husband and father to the best of my ability and never back away from that. Like i said, i have chosen the things i have for a reason....... because they make me happy.

So I have finished a full week at my new job and i must say i think it is going pretty good. I do like it better than my old and the people there are pretty cool. Long hours and good pay so its all good here.

On other news, baby is on the way and I am looking forward to it because it is exciting and I want her to be here for lots of reasons. I just am wanting to be a dad and i know that she will be loved very much by both of her parents.

Start of something new

So yesterday was my first day in the warehouse and it met my expectations and surprised me a bit too. To start off, wow was it hot, I think I went through like 5-6 bottles of water in the amount of time I was there and that really wasnt enough. But I enjoyed it a lot and i can say that I like this a lot better than my previous position. The guys were cool and helped when needed and its really a nice environment to be in. I was slow but I feel like I will get my rhythm soon and will be on my way. So my numbers yesterday were still fairly decent for it being my first day. 27 pallets, 963 cases in 7 hours. It will get better soon.

My wife got a haircut and I like it a lot :) I like short hair vs long..... and little baby ruby is just movin along given mommy pains and being a bad girl. But she has to grow and she is cramped so I cant get to mad i suppose. anyway, my brain isnt really functioning right now so i will leave.

Good day

Been a few days since I have "blogged" so let me catch you up on a few things:

1. Forgot to pay renters insurance but eventually remembered in time to make payment

2. Went grocery shopping with the wife after I came home from work and saw that she had made cookies, anyway went shopping and got lots of good stuff to eats, and i mean good for you good. Not just junk that we usually get. So that was a plus!

3. Shout out to my parents for having our back!!

4. Watched Zoolander for the first time ever!!! *GASP* Magnum!!!!!

4. LAST WEEK AS A MERCHANDISER!!!! Im not very excited about that, kidding, I am stoked.

5. Repeat 4 and Now add, START MY NEW JOB AFTER TOMORROW!!!!

6. Tonight , I ate dinner with my wife on the porch during rain/thunderstorm/lightning and that was good. Spent some awesome quality 1 on 1 time with the wife, and now to top it off, we are gonna watch the Jungle Book :)

So today was a fairly good day. I woke up to trucker sitting next to my face staring at me giving me the "Why hello father? Would you like to take me out to poop cause if not ill do it right here!" So i took him out. The rest is history..... Then did my usual Modern Warfare kill em all morning ritual.... After that at 9 went in to wake the wife and then we had to get ready for her chiropractor appointment.

Went to the Dallas temple afterwards which was really good cause I have not been in a while and it was a good experience to do something I have only done once. Went to the LDS bookstore afterward and got some pictures for little girl and then came home and arrived 2 freakin hours later!!!! Hate traffic here.....

My families dog that we have had for 16+ years has finally passed.... I believe it was at night and he was sleeping in his dog house.... just the way it should be. Im glad he has passed because it was his time and he did not need to hurt anymore from frailty and old age wearing on him.

By the way my dog Trucker, totally gave me an unexpected hug today by putting his front legs on each of my shoulders and leaning in and resting his head on one side..... SO MUCH LOVE !!!!! i love this puppy.

To start off, work was tiring today but im not really tired? Just physically exhausted. Could have gotten into a lot of trouble with a small store but luckily things worked out. Anyway. some HSO's now

Batman Arkham Asylum 2..... wow can i just say this..... going to be sick! If it is anything like the first it would be sufficient to obtain sometime however, if it was the completely different in that it is as dark as they say it could be and will be, this game will be a must have pre-order when first available. Two-Face, Freeze, Talia, Titan Scarecrow?, Joker, maybe more? If your allies become your enemies how crazy would that be? just like the way it should be actually. Will go into more detail when it arrives

Modnation Racers .... well I cant say anything else that hasnt already been said about this. Is it the new style and upgrade to kart racers? Mario is a tough one to beat, but can it be done? I personally love the fact that you can create a seemingly endless character and kart, as well as the fun of multiplayer online and off. I want this really bad not only for me but it is something I know my wife would enjoy, cause everyone loves mario kart ...... this could be on par if not better

Red Dead Redemption ..... so this game has gotten a lot of attention of late and for obvious reasons.... its a western. Most suck thats why its so odd. To me personally I can wait for the price tag to go down before i step on board this crazy train and go all goo goo for RDR, I like westerns but not that much. If it is as quick a game as they say, doesnt seem worth the $60, thats all im gettin at.

Thats about all i got for now on VG's but i do have some more things to say.....

Since the last post, my wife has had a doctors appointment where we were able to hear the heartbeat and everything and it amazes me everytime to hear and just listen to it go. I started to get creative today while i was working and came up with some things that i want to write down and keep in a book for Ruby when she gets older that way when she looks back she can understand what I felt/feel while she is unable to really understand all that. Maybe she will get a better understanding of me and the things i do if i write it down for her to see. Anyway, gotta go for now just wanted to update.

p.s. love my wife:) she was playin rock band when i got home, she is so cute and i just love her :)
