on a day like today

So today is sunday... a day of rest and that I am doing...... While doing so i am reading Harry Potter and enjoying it as i have not read them and am currently in the fourth book and i must say it is better than i thought. I must finish before number 7 comes out that way i know whats going on!!!! Im saying all kinds of harry potter lingo.... megan enjoys it only until shes had enough which is usually after the first. but so it goes.....

other than that i have recently been into the dirty heads song "lay me down" and sublime..... its just mellow and thats what i need after a hectic day in a warehouse and driving home!!!! then when i get home its the sight of megan and the thought of a soon to be baby girl named Ruby!!!

there is just so much that is going on it can seem overwhelming..... but dont get discourraaaggeeddd!!! (tribute to j. depp)

work is going alright just using voice pick now which is nice since i know call numbers now and im just working overtime in order for us to be comfortable at home and me not to worry about small things like bills...... it eases my mind to work more.... odd but true.

also connected with some good friends these last couple of days and hopefully i can keep it up and will continue to keep in touch with them cause they are friends i should always stay in touch with. good people. anyway, time to go now but thought i should update.... RUBY COMES IN 29 days!!!

Sunday

There are things in this world that i wish didnt exist...... here are 5:

1. Bills..... how i hate you so much and how you drag me down
2. Noisy neighbors.... both in provo and now here..... great
3. Heat (humid)..... why must you be so annoyingly in the way of fun.... its bad when your door knob has condensation on the outside
4.Freakin lazy people...... there are certain people who stand around and do nothing, i hate you freakin lazy
5. Dumb people..... need i say more

Then there are good things to look forward too..... here are 5:

1. Megan.... i love you so much and you make everyday worth it even if we dont see eye to eye on some things..... you da bes!!!!!!!!!!!
2. Ruby..... for you i work so hard to try and make your life easy, and you dont have to worry.... i will never let you down
3. Trucker.... you infuriate me sometimes, but your too cute to just stay upset with and i love you puppy eyes and forgiving heart no matter how i deal with you, i love you
4. Family..... The support and love I feel from yall is greatly appreciated and I am grateful for all you do for us, thank you
5. End of the work week..... You cant come soon enough


thats about whats on my mind now, so maybe ill catch up with ya in a few days....

I do Work

This week went by really fast as far as work goes.... I dont even remember any of it and the good thing is that im getting faster at it. Today i was the most efficient builder and had the most cases worked. I also got a new monster shirt that im excited about and now i am the "monster shirt king" as one person called me as he announced i had arrived to work......... tonight we are going to the ranger game and hopefully it isnt rained out and we can enjoy the game with good foods and good game.

Trucker was able to take off his cone this week and he is really excited as am i because he is not able to run into anything and make so much noise anymore.....

Ruby is getting very large and is consuming my wife's body..... just like...... TWILIGHT..... i know, i finally saw the movies and they are ok..... some fairly gay scenes like the "brokeback" moment in the latest one and the first one was so low budget the effects were on par with it. Megan is reading the books to me as she insists they are much better and I will like them if i listen to them, and i can tell differences but as of now its nothing i would get upset over. anyway.......

End of the week...

So this week went by really fast for me at work which is really good because I need it to go by fast so i can stay home with my pregnant wife and be with her in the mornings. I have really not wanted to get up the past few days and just stay in bed but i cant because i must work. Went to go see karate kid and it was fairly good and i will say that i like the new sensei a lot better than miyagi and the new karate kid (jaden smith) was more tolerable than "daniel san"...... not sure if its one to see again but it was alright. Things are going fairly well right now and I have no complaints.... i need to give more opinions and what not but right now i have none.... just work, my wife, ruby, and sick dog that has cone of shame..... he has disgraced this family, kidding..... anyway write more later

And then there was....... me

Sometimes i feel that there are some things I cant control.... some things that are better left to the powers above, or below......... there must be opposition in all things we hear. There is joy and misery, virtue and vice, up and down, now or later. No matter how we look at it, decisions must be made and I know that I am in control of myself and my surroundings. I have chosen the things i have for a reason, they have made me a better person and allow me to be driven. I have no regrets of my past and no complaints of my present, now all I have to worry about is my future. What is next? All I can say is that i love my family, i love my wife, i love my child, i love my dog, and my fish. As for the first 2, I will be the best i can for them and be there for them always.... I will be a husband and father to the best of my ability and never back away from that. Like i said, i have chosen the things i have for a reason....... because they make me happy.

So I have finished a full week at my new job and i must say i think it is going pretty good. I do like it better than my old and the people there are pretty cool. Long hours and good pay so its all good here.

On other news, baby is on the way and I am looking forward to it because it is exciting and I want her to be here for lots of reasons. I just am wanting to be a dad and i know that she will be loved very much by both of her parents.

Honestly I am having brain fart and dont know what to write so I will end it now

Start of something new

So yesterday was my first day in the warehouse and it met my expectations and surprised me a bit too. To start off, wow was it hot, I think I went through like 5-6 bottles of water in the amount of time I was there and that really wasnt enough. But I enjoyed it a lot and i can say that I like this a lot better than my previous position. The guys were cool and helped when needed and its really a nice environment to be in. I was slow but I feel like I will get my rhythm soon and will be on my way. So my numbers yesterday were still fairly decent for it being my first day. 27 pallets, 963 cases in 7 hours. It will get better soon.

My wife got a haircut and I like it a lot :) I like short hair vs long..... and little baby ruby is just movin along given mommy pains and being a bad girl. But she has to grow and she is cramped so I cant get to mad i suppose. anyway, my brain isnt really functioning right now so i will leave.
